Your journey begins at 7:00 am from Dar es Salaam with your professional safari guide. You will drive southwest along the scenic Morogoro road, stopping for lunch in Morogoro town before continuing to Mikumi National Park. On arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive where you may spot elephants, lions, buffalo, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, and crocodiles. As the sun sets, you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, spend the day exploring Mikumi's Mkata floodplain and Miombo woodlands. The park is home to large herds of elephants, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and impalas, with predators such as lions and leopards often seen. Birdwatchers will enjoy spotting some of the 350+ species found here.

After breakfast, drive to Nyerere National Park with a stop at a Maasai village for a cultural tour. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you'll encounter crocodiles, hippos, elephants, baboons, waterbucks, and diverse birdlife.

Spend the day exploring Africa's largest protected area, covering 31,000 sq km. Nyerere is home to elephants, hippos, giraffes, lions, elands, kudus, crocodiles, hyenas, and more than 400 bird species.

Enjoy another full day in Nyerere National Park. In addition to wildlife viewing, visit the historic grave of Frederick Selous, the legendary explorer.

Begin the day with a walking safari led by Bushmen and an armed ranger. Learn about animal tracks, plants, and traditional medicines used by local communities. After breakfast, drive back to Dar es Salaam where your safari concludes.
